Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: October 7, 2026
Hemlock Park is committed to making hemlockpark.com usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We are continually improving the experience for all of our customers and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have motor, cognitive, or other disabilities. Our efforts also reflect the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and, for California and New York residents, applicable state civil rights laws that entitle individuals with disabilities to full and equal access to business websites and services.
What we do
- Provide descriptive text alternatives for product and editorial images.
- Support keyboard navigation of menus, the cart, and checkout.
- Provide a pause control for background video and respect reduced-motion settings.
- Use color combinations that meet WCAG AA contrast requirements.
- Test the site with automated tools and manual keyboard checks on a regular basis.
