The Botanicals
Essential oils carry the memory of their origin. That's why we source ours from the Atlas Mountains, the fields of Provence, the dry coastal forests of Peru. Places where climate and soil produce qualities found nowhere else. In our fragrances, these oils work in layers: top notes that greet you first and lift away, middle notes that form the heart of the scent, base notes that settle in and stay. Layered together, they build something that evolves over time.
Cedarwood
Cedrus Atlantica
Atlas Mountains, Morocco
Atlas cedarwood grows in the highland forests of Morocco's Atlas Mountains, one of the few remaining stands of true cedar in the world. Its oil is rich and resinous, with a dry, slightly smoky depth that anchors a fragrance from the base up. In the great perfume houses of Europe, Atlas cedar has been a foundation ingredient for over a century. We reach for it the same way.
